The Backcountry Hut Company started in 2015 as an idea for a simple, recreational structure that could be easily installed in a remote location — something that most backcountry enthusiasts romanticize over. After working with the outdoor community in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest, founder Wilson Edgar was inspired to collaborate with Michael Leckie, Principal Architect of Leckie Studio.

Our customer is your neighbour, T.V personality, Chef, Dentist, Artisan, and yourself. AyA's customers have many faces, tastes, styles and needs. With a wide selection of doors and finishes our customers are able to make their dream kitchen space a reality. From repeat savvy customers to novice, we take your vision and goals and make them fully realized.

Participating in shows, events and working with media, celebrity designers, publications and industry friends, AyA has built relationships and worked with many creative personalities in the industry that really made our product shine on the big stage. These collaborations help us innovate and strive towards new ground and make us what we are today.
